(From Clark Funeral Home)Eula M. Hill was born on April 9, 1941, in Neosho, Missouri, one of three children, born to Melvin and Mae (Huffman) Richards. She entered into rest, surrounded by her loving family on June 22, 2023, at the age of 82.
Eula graduated from Neosho High School, class of 1958, and was a lifelong area resident. She married her high school sweetheart, Roy Hill, on June 21, 1958, at the Oakwood Christian Church, south of Neosho. They celebrated 65 wonderful years together.
She was a stay-at-home mother for many years before beginning her professional career. She began working for the Neosho Public School Transportation Department in 1970, where she worked for twenty-one years. She then obtained her real estate license and sold real estate, starting in 1992 for Blue Ribbon Realty and then Red Carpet Real Estate until her retirement December 2011. During her real estate career, Eula received numerous awards. She was top producer several years in a row. She was a Million Dollar Club Qualifier, Mars Pinnacle Sales Award, and Gold Level Award of Excellence recipient.
Eula was a member of the National Association of Realtors, Missouri Association of Realtors, and Newton-McDonald Counties Board of Realtors. She served as chairman of the MLS, scholarship, membership, and computer committees.
When not selling real estate, she enjoyed working in her flower gardens. She was a member of High Street Christian Church.
In addition to her husband, Roy, Eula is survived by two sons, Randy Hill and wife, Diane of Granby, Missouri and Phillip Hill and wife, Nancy of Greenwood, Missouri; grandchildren, Kolina Talbert and husband, Nick of Joplin, Blake Hill and wife, Rhiannah of Granby, Missouri, Paxton Hill of DeSoto, Missouri, Conner Hill and wife, Hannah of Greenville, South Carolina, Hadley, Noah, and Avary Hill of Greenwood, Missouri; four great grandchildren, Hattie Talbert, Gracie, Karaline, and Jax Hill and two nieces, Lisa Davey and husband, Mike of Sumter, South Carolina, and Dana Thompson and husband, Shannon of Vienna, Missouri.
In addition to her parents, Eula is preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry Lee Richards and Kenneth Eual Richards.
Funeral services will be held at 10 am, Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with Virgil Eubanks officiating. Interment will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery and serving as pallbearers will be Blake Hill, Paxton Hill, Conner Hill, Noah Hill, Nick Talbert, and Craig Hill. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 9 am until service time.
