(From Westfield Chapel Funeral Home)Sherry Kay Darr, age 61, passed away June 28, 2023 at Jamestown Nursing and Rehabilitation Rogers, Arkansas surrounded by family. She was born August 21, 1961 in Hayti, Missouri to Glenn and Nola Griffin.
Sherry graduated from South Pemiscot High School in 1979. She worked as a Security Guard at Arkansas Children’s Hospital for over 20 years.
Sherry was preceded in death by her father Glenn Griffin, 2011.

She is survived by her mother Nola Mae Wilson of Anderson, Missouri. Stepmother Nella Griffin of Searcy, Arkansas. Sisters Glenda Hurley (Johnny – deceased) of Blytheville, Arkansas, Becky Turnbo (George) West Memphis, Arkansas, Pam Andelman (Bill) of Bella Vista, Arkansas. Four nieces and four nephews and many great nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Sherry also leaves behind lifelong friends Rhonda Hattenhauer of Steele, Missouri and Brenda Hubbard of Holland, Missouri.
Sherry enjoyed music, going to concerts, travel, spending time with family and her dogs. She had many faithful companions throughout her life.
A private memorial will be held. In lieu of flowers please make donations to your local animal shelter or Circle of Life Hospice.
