(From Knell Mortuary)Lewis Franklin Busch, 69, of Carthage, Missouri, passed away Thursday morning, June 29, 2023, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri, following an extended hospital stay.
Lewis was born June 29, 1954, in Kansas City, Kansas, the son of the late Mary Frances (Cortez) Busch and Lewis Oliver Busch. He was a 1972 graduate of Carthage High School, and later attended State Fair Community College in Sedalia, Missouri, and Arkansas Tech University in Russellville, Arkansas. He worked in the warehouse for Schreiber Foods in Carthage. Lewis loved his family dearly and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.
Survivors include his daughters, Danielle Busch, Joplin, Missouri, and Tisha Baker, Las Vegas, Nevada; his grandchildren, Dacia Busch, Jeffrey Buckner, Ja’Ron Baker, and Dedan Busch; his sister, Mary Benita “Teena” Busch, Durham, North Carolina; and numerous extended family and friends.
