(From Parker Mortuary)Robert Dean “Bobby” Huff, age 58, Joplin, passed away on Monday, June 19, 2023 at his home.
Bobby was born August 1, 1964 in Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas, son of the late Harry Frank Huff and Billie Juanita (Oakes) Huff. He grew up in Fulton, KS, Fort Scott, KS, and then Webb City where he went to Webb City High School and played on the High School Football Team.
He worked for years in the movie theatre business working at Dickerson’s Theatre, East Gate Movie Theatre, and the Webb City Drive In. Most recently he was working as a Floor Tech at Freeman West, then Joplin Health and Rehab and Carthage Health and Rehab. He was an avid gardener and loved tending to his vegetables and flowers. In his early years he loved to work on old cars with his brothers. He also enjoyed going to the local flea markets. His favorite activity was spending time with family. He will be greatly missed by many.
In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by his brothers, David Huff and Bill Huff, a sister, Juanita June Huff, and a nephew, Raymond Kneff.

Survivors include his companion for 23 years, Phyllis Huff of Joplin; brother, Harry Frank Huff of Carthage, MO; nephews, Nathan Huff of Webb City, Samuel Huff of Joplin, Phillip Huff of Webb City, Billy Huff of Miami, OK, Ashley “Elmo” Huff , Keith Allen Huff, and Thomas Huff all of Joplin; niece, Starla Tandy of Neosho, MO; several great nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, June 25, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. in King Jack Park, Webb City.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
