(From Parker Mortuary)Laura A. Moore, age 64 of Joplin, passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2023 due to health complications.
Laura was born in St. Louis, MO on August 5, 1958. She married Charles R Moore on June 12, 2007. He preceded her in death November 3, 2020. She leaves her loving canine companion, Emmie and a host of family and friends whom she dearly loved.
Laura was a master craftswoman and loved her “Girl Gang” of Debi Rankin, Lisa Ross, and Carolyn Burns.
She was a member of Little Balkans Quilt Guild, Joplin Town & Country Quilt Guild, and Fiber Folks of SW MO. Laura was a Christian, always bearing a kind spirit and gentle heart. She suffered her poor health and illnesses with grace and dignity and will be greatly missed by those who loved her.
A Committal of Ashes will take place on Friday, June 23, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Ozark Memorial Park Open Air Pavilion.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin, Missouri.
