(From Paul Thomas Funeral Home)Gerald Lee Graham of Miami, OK passed from this life Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at his cabin on Rainy Lake, Ontario, Canada. He was 89.
Gerald was born December 9, 1933 to James Lee and Mary Evelyn (Cobb) Graham. He had lived in the Fairland and Miami, OK area for 55 years, moving from Tulsa, OK. He attended Tulsa Public Schools and the University of Tulsa.
After graduating from Tulsa University he taught at McClain High School in Tulsa. After leaving McClain High school in the late 1960's he became the Technical Theatre Director, scenic designer and art instructor at Northeastern Oklahoma A.&M. College in Miami, OK for many years until his retirement. He later became the manager of the Coleman Theatre in Miami, OK where his was instrumental in the restoration of the Coleman. He also was a scenic designer for Tulsa Ballet and the Tulsa Scottish Rite Consistory. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Miami.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother, Harold Graham.
Gerald is survived by 4 brothers, James Graham of Oklahoma City, OK, Clement Graham of Neosho, MO, Ray Graham of Edmond, OK and Voyle Graham of Oklahoma City, OK and 1 sister, Joyce Lyle of Tahlequah, OK.
