(From Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home)Marilyn Sue Boyd, 69, of Verona was called to her Heavenly home on Wednesday June 14, 2023 while at Mercy Hospital in Aurora, Missouri.
She was born in Monett, Missouri on December 30, 1953; the daughter of the late Delmar and Juanita (Stevens) Tennison. She was united in marriage on January 14, 1970 to Lonnie Paul Boyd, he survives.
She was a homemaker and of Christian Faith.

Marilyn is survived by her husband Lonnie of the home; eight sons: Lonnie Paul Boyd II of Baxter Springs, Kansas, Ronald Boyd of Granby, Missouri, Jamie Boyd of Granby, Missouri, David Boyd of Monett, Missouri, Jimmie Boyd of Granby, Missouri Tony Boyd of Verona, Missouri, Johnny Boyd of Verona, Missouri and Lonnie Boyd III of Verona, Missouri; two daughters: Jennie Boyd of Verona, Missouri and Amanda Boyd of Monett, Missouri; one brother: Eddie Tennison of Bolivar, Missouri; two sisters: Nita Mackey of Billings, Missouri and Sandra Cooper of Aurora, Missouri; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Memorial services for Marilyn are being held at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett, Missouri.
