(From Derfelt Funeral Home)Sharon Rosalie (Garrison) Campbell-Adkins, age 83, passed away at 12:01 am, Friday, June 23, 2023, at Webb City Health and Rehab, Webb, City, MO following an illness.
Sharon was born August 1, 1939, in Columbus, KS. Her parents were Francis and Hanna Jane (Brigman) Garrison. She had lived in Webb City since 2012, moving from Oswego, KS.
She was raised in Columbus and graduated from High School there. She worked at Labette Health, Parsons, KS for 36 years, retiring in the late 1990’s. Sharon was a member of First Baptist Church, Oswego, KS..
Sharon was married to Lawrence Harold Campbell on January 4, 1958, in Oswego. Their marriage ended in divorce. They reunited, and lived together as companions until he passed away in February 2012.
She married Norman B “Rocky” Adkins who also preceded her in death March 19, 1984. She also follows her parents, 7 brothers, 5 sisters, and one grandson, Jacob Hayward in death.
Surviving is one son, John Campbell (Robin), Webb City; two sisters, Ywona “Jane” Hayward (Tony), Oswego, and Sherri Jackson (Gary), Webb City; 7 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 9:30 am, Wednesday, June 28 ,2023 at Oswego Cemetery, Oswego, KS. Pastor Jim Irwin will officiate. Upon Sharon’s wishes, the casket will remain closed. Arrangements are under the direction of Derfelt Funeral Home, Oswego, KS.
