(From Mason-Woodard Mortuary)Zoey Marie Duncan of Joplin Mo. Born Sept. 11, 2008 in Springfield Mo. The daughter of Kevin Burwell and Kayla Duncan passed away unexpectedly June 9th 2023 at the age of 14.
Zoey is survived by her Mother and Father, four brothers Kory Hilburn, Kevin Burwell Jr., Keith Burwell, and Dallas Burwell. Also, her Great Grandparents Dallas and Judy Duncan, three Grandmothers Jamie Massey, Jeanne Evans, and Mary Burwell. As well as many Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
Preceded in death by her Great-Great Grandparents Irvin and Lucille Keller and Jim and Anna Lee Hency. Great Grandparents Lonnie and Eileen Hicks, Vernon and Beulah McGowan, and James Hency. Two Grandpa’s Keith Burwell and Trevor Duncan. Her Great Uncle Tracy Duncan, three cousins Jason and Brittany Burwell, Travis Smith and Aunt Sierra House.
Zoey was full of life and sunshine everywhere she went. She loved her family and friends fiercely. She let it be known how proud she was of her parents. She loved going to her friends, shopping, swimming, and most importantly making tik-toks. Zoey could make anybody smile and made a lasting impression on everyone she met. Zoey will forever be missed and loved by all.

Memorial services have been scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at the Life Connections Church in Joplin, MO. The family will receive friends during a time of visitation following the service.
