Clydene Bond

E. Clydene Bond, 83, went to her heavenly home on Monday, September 9, 2024, in Carl Junction, Missouri. She was born on February 21, 1941, in Miami to Cade and Nancy (Harden) Harkins. 

Mrs. Bond and her husband Thomas were longtime members of Northwest Baptist Church in Miami. She worked at Aalfs/Sew Wright Apparel in Miami, Oklahoma for many years before her job as an administrative assistant at Integris Miami Hospital, where she retired. She loved to travel, she could often be found baking and cooking, but most of all she loved her grandchildren. 






Mrs. Bond was preceded in passing by her parents Cade and Nancy Harkins, her husband Thomas Bond, and her siblings, Floy Wilcox, Cade Harkins Jr., Marshall Harkins, Billy Joe Harkins, and Jack Harkins.

Those left to carry Clydene’s legacy on are her children Thomas Geoffrey Bond of Miami, Steven L. Bond and his wife Melissa of Gentry, Arkansas, and Michelle Snodgrass and her husband Paul of Carl Junction, Missouri, along with her grandchildren Holly Gulick and her husband Caleb, Emily Bond and her husband Riley, Hannah Wilkins and her husband Trae, Zach Snodgrass and his wife Anna, Kennedy Weideman and her husband Jacob and Tori Snodgrass. Many nieces nephews and cousins are surviving.
Visitation for Mrs. Bond will be on Friday, September 13, 2024, from Noon until 1:00 PM at First Baptist Church in Fairland.








Services for Clydene are at 1:00 PM on Friday, September 13, 2024, at First Baptist Church in Fairland, Oklahoma with Mr. Warren Harkins officiating. Interment will follow at the Fairland Cemetery under the Care of Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami.
