(From White Funeral Home)William "Bill" Gale Henson, 77, from Cassville, Missouri, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, September 26, 2024, at NHC Healthcare in Joplin, Missouri.
Born to Orville and Rosa (Lyall) Henson on July 4, 1947, in Cassville, he was a proud graduate of Cassville High School in 1965. Subsequently he served in the United States Army and one tour in Vietnam.
Bill married his beloved wife, Debbie Kisling, on August 28, 2009, in Cassville. An avid outdoorsman, he cherished the time spent hunting and fishing. Over the past five months, Bill has been battling a severe form of cancer.
He is survived by his cherished wife of 14 years, Debbie; his son Brent Henson and Brent's wife Heather of Eagle Rock; his daughter Brenda Henson of Carthage; six grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; a brother, Don Henson of Springfield; and three sisters, Darlene Wierman of Cassville, Irene Bates of Shell Knob, and Dollie Sprenger of Springfield.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Orville and Rosa Henson, and two brothers.

Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, October 1st at 1:00 p.m. at the White Funeral Home in Cassville, Missouri, with Pastor John Hile presiding. Visitation will be on Monday, September 30th, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Cassville.
