(From Paul Thomas Funeral Home)Linda Sue Heatherly of Quapaw, OK passed from this life Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at Integris Miami Hospital in Miami, OK. She was 73.
Linda was born May 29, 1951 in Miami, OK to Andy and Cynthia Imogene (Turner) Edens. She had lived in Loveland, CO for 10 years before moving to Picher, OK, where she lived for many years before moving to Quapaw. She graduated from Picher-Cardin High School Class of 1969. Linda had worked for Newell Coach in North Miami, OK in the housekeeping and maintenance department. She played for years on a bowling league in the area and was a member of Cardin Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher for several years.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, 4 siblings, Davey Edens , twins Lonnie and Bonnie Edens and Betty Hart.
Survivors include her husband Dale Heatherly of the home, 1 daughter, Teresa Armstrong and husband Marty of Miami, OK, 1 brother, Donnie Edens of Joplin, MO, 1 sister, Connie Roycroft and husband Ken of Miami, OK, 1 brother-in-law, Bob Duggan of Miami, OK, 2 grandchildren, Cortney McGinty and husband Mitch and Brayden Craig and 2 great grandchildren, Foster McGinty and Winnie McGinty.
Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at Greenlawn Cemetery, Southwest of Columbus, KS. Services have been placed in the care of Paul Thomas Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Miami, OK. Online condolences may be made at www.paulthomasfuneralhomes.com.
