(From Daniel Funeral Home)Kyle Ray Berry, age 78, of Lamar, Missouri passed away September 22, 2024, at Cox Barton County Hospital in Lamar, MO.
Kyle was born August 10, 1946 in Stockton, Missouri to Willie Berry and Rosalie (Sayre) Berry. Kyle graduated from Greenfield High School in the class of 1965. On October 20, 1978, Kyle married Kathy Layne Ryan in Miami, Oklahoma.
Kyle worked as a supervisor at O'Sullivan Industries for 28 years and finished his career working for Barton County in the Assessor's office. Kyle was a phenomenal multi-sport athlete. He was invited to try out with the Atlanta Braves. He was a yo-yo champion and a semi-professional boxer (Ray Bang Bang Berry). He loved sports and was a huge Lamar Tiger and Jasper Eagle fan. Many youth in the four state area knew him as Coach Berry or Pappa Kyle, which were his most prized titles. Kyle was a girl dad and loved his daughters and was so thankful for the husbands and grandchildren they blessed his life with.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy Berry; four daughters, Aimee (Casey) O'Sullivan, Amber Nance (Kevin Butler) and Autumn (Terin) Timmons, all of Lamar, MO., and Ali (Ryan) Storm of Jasper, MO; 10 grandchildren, Thomas (Taylor) O'Sullivan, Kainen (Macie) Nance, Ryan O'Sullivan, Samuel Timmons, Kinley Nance, Dylan Storm, Shiloh Storm, Talon Timmons, Colt Storm and Rylan Storm; three great-grandchildren, Thomas O'Sullivan, Tatum O'Sullivan and Maverick Nance; two brothers, Robert Berry and Donald Berry, both of Greenfield, MO; four sisters, Lois Berry, Deloris (Brian) Snider and Cheryl (Randy) Rusch, all of Greenfield, MO., and Janice (Gary) Gray of Puxico, MO and one brother-in-law, Terry Ryan.
Kyle was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Larry Berry; and sister-in-law, Gabi Ryan.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 27, 2024, at Daniel Funeral Home.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 27, 2024, at Daniel Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m., prior to the service at the funeral home.
