(From Adams Funeral Home)Becky Jo Settles, age 62 of Nixa, Missouri passed away September 13, 2024. She was born October 24, 1961 in Iola, Kansas, the daughter of Kenneth and Donna Joan (Hart) Storrer.
Becky and Jimmy Settles were married May, 22, 1993 and since then, have done everything together for 31 years. Becky had many hobbies she enjoyed. Camping, bowling, and her Kansas City Chiefs football were some of her favorites. She was also a very talented crafter and had quite the green thumb, loving to take care of her plants and flowers. But, above all of these, she loved her grandchildren most.
Becky was preceded in death by her mother Donna Storrer; is survived by her husband Jimmy Settles, of Nixa; her son, Joseph Griffin and wife Elizabeth, Harrisonville, Missouri; her daughters Ashlee Griffin, Webb City, Missouri, and Tammy Allen and her husband Steve, Indianapolis, Indiana; her parents Kenneth and Marsha Storrer, Iola, KS; a brother, Jeff Storrer and his wife Diana, Iola, Kansas; grandchildren; Braden, Stephie, Benny, Alyssa, Addison, Mike, Rob, and Zach; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, family, and friends.
She worked at Mercy for 15 years making many friends that she considered family. She was loved by everyone that met her and always had a positive outlook on life. She will be remembered and missed by so many.
Visitation will be held Thursday, September 19, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa, Missouri.
A funeral service will follow at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, September 19, 2024 in the funeral home, with Pastor Jamie Bilyeu officiating. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. at Missouri Veteran's Cemetery, Springfield.
