Treasia Casto

Treasia Ann Casto, age 75, of Greenfield, Missouri, passed away peacefully in her sleep on September 12th, 2024 with her family by her side after a lengthy battle with cancer.

Treasia was born August 20th, 1949 in Springfield, Missouri to the late Gene and Marylin (Ross) Williams also of Springfield, Missouri. She attended public schools and later was a graduate of Hillcrest High School. 







Treasia later met and was united in Holy Matrimony to Robert Dale Casto of Webb City, Missouri on August 19th, 1967. Treasia and Robert were blessed to have four children together; Melissa Blankenship (Guy), Michelle Phillips, John Casto (Jeanne), and Christina Ward (Scott). They are all surviving. Over the years they were then blessed again to have 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Before moving to Greenfield, Missouri, she and Robert were long-time residents of Carthage, Missouri. After moving to Greenfield, she was an employee at the local nursing home where she cooked in the kitchen, made many friends, and loved helping take care of the elderly residents. After retiring she spent most of her time taking care of her husband Robert, who had been battling a lengthy illness for many years. She also enjoyed gardening and spending time with family.

Treasia is survived by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and three nieces. Also, surviving is her brother Stephen Williams (Debbie) of Springfield, Missouri.








Her beautiful life will always be forever cherished and remembered by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and family of the memories they made together.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 21, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Greenfield Funeral Chapel. Private family inurnment will be at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s local humane society. Services are under the care of Greenfield Funeral Chapel.
