(From Ozark Memorial Park Crematory)Lucille Rickey O’Banion 82, passed away February 16th, 2024, at Joplin Gardens with her family by her side.
She was born to the late William (Bill) Patton and Jenny Weisenbach Patton on September 22nd, 1941.
She married the late Frankie Rickey in 1959- deceased in 1991. They had 3 children: Ollie Ray Rickey (Deceased 2011), Connie Rickey Bettes ( husband Rick), and Jinnie Rickey Arnold (husband Patrick).
She lived most of her life in Joplin, Missouri area. After Frankie passed, she married Sammy O’Banion. (Deceased)
Lucille worked as a nurse's aide for many years. She is also survived by her sister Lily Emmer; they were always together. Lucille’s favorite hobby was to go to the Hootenanny with Lily and her sister in-law Odie Patterson and daughters.
Lucille is survived by her daughters and her sister Lily. Grandchildren, Leona walker (Terry) Truesdale, John Walker (Diana), Amber Henson Busby(Tim), Ricky Henson, Jennifer Henson(1984- 2023), 16 Great grandkids, and12 great great grandkids. She will be greatly missed.
Arrangements are under the direction of Ozark Memorial Park of Joplin, MO.
