(From Paul Thomas Funeral Home)Pamela Sue Adkins Aikwij of Commerce, OK passed from this life Sunday, September 8, 2024 at Hillcrest South Hospital in Tulsa, OK. She was 67.
Pam was born January 24, 1957 in Miami, OK to David and Jeanne (Darnell) Adkins. She had lived in Commerce, OK for the past 16 years moving from Picher, OK. She graduated from Picher-Cardin High School Class of 1975 where she played softball was High School State Champion Shot Putter. She attended N.E.O. A&M College in Miami, OK where she received her Associate’s Degree. She worked at Lion Supply in Picher, OK, Tyson Foods in Noel, MO and General Mills in Joplin, MO. Pam was a member of Green Acres Baptist Church in Miami, OK.
Pam was preceded in death by her husband Need Aikwij on December 27, 1985, her parents and 1 sister, Gloria Adkins.
Survivors include 1 sister, Denise Sweeten and husband Steve of Commerce, OK and 1 nephew, Michael Sweeten of Commerce, OK.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at G.A.R. Cemetery in Miami, OK. Rev. Kristy Bauer will officiate.
