Vincent Allen 'Vince' Triplett joined our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at 9:40 p.m., surrounded by his family and loved ones.
Vince was born January 30, 1968 in Carthage to Willie Charles 'Butch' Triplett and Tillie Bond Triplett and had lived in the area all of his life.
Vince worked in the medical field for over twenty five years and was a light of joy to all who worked with him. For over twenty years, he spent his summers at the Carthage Sports Complex running softball games and tournaments. Vince coached and inspired dozens of young athletes and was loved by so many.
Vince is survived by his daughters, Whitney Baker and husband, Evan, Joplin, Talia Triplett and boyfriend, Josh Boyd, Carthage; granddaughters, Elleana Marie-Vinette Triplett, Lydia Grace Baker; girlfriend, Steva Bolinger and children, Cyrus, Cayden and Cael; mother, Tillie Marie Bond; father, Willie Charles 'Butch' Triplett and wife, Velma; sister, Stefanie Triplett; two brothers, Brian Triplett and wife, Bridget, Justin Triplett; and many extended family members and friends.
Services are planned for Monday at 6:30 p.m. at Forest Park Baptist Church. The family will receive friends Monday from 4:00 p.m. until service time at the church. A private family graveside will be held Tuesday at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Carthage. Pallbearers will be Brian Triplett, Brad Golay, Shane Adams, Louis Taylor, Evan Baker and Josh Boyd. Memorial contributions may be made to the Vince Triplett Youth Sports Memorial Fund, in care of Parker Mortuary.
