Donald E. 'Butch' Johnson, age 76, Neosho, passed away at 10:00 p.m. Friday, December 6, 2019.
Don was born February 3, 1943 in Galena, Kansas to the late Jewel Volkman and Ossie (Humphreys) Volkman Owens and had lived in the Neosho area most of his life.
Don had worked in farming for most of his adult working life. He was associated with High House in Galena for several years. Don loved the outdoors and went hunting and fishing any chance he could. He will be missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by his wife, Pamela Diane (Harris) Johnson; a son, Shannon Harris; and siblings, Albert Volkman, Ricky Volkman and Kathy White.
Survivors include his sons, Corey Harris, Brian Harris, Joe Johnson; siblings, Carl Volkman, Violet Phillips, Alice Allen, Opal Marney; several grandchildren, including Chloe Harris; and many nieces and nephews, including Amber Asbell.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
