(From Ulmer Funeral Home)Barbara L. Sigmon, 90, of Carthage, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at St. Luke’s Nursing Center. Barbara was born in San Diego, California on August 19, 1931. She has been a resident of Carthage since 2013.
Barbara was joined in marriage by Wayne Sigmon on April 23, 1966, in San Diego, California; Wayne preceded her in death on April 4, 2022.
She is survived by her daughters Lisa Moore of Carthage and Lorrie Steven of Arizona; two grandchildren Nicole McDaniel, and Allen McDaniel (Brittany); and six great grandchildren, Malea Robertson, Tru Robertson, Haeyen Robertson, Adeline McDaniel, Beverleigh McDaniel and Rosalia McDaniel.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Bud Taylor and Lee Taylor, and a son in law, Tim McDaniel.
Per Barbara’s wishes, she will be cremated, and a private family service will be held at a later date.
