Cindy Goff

Cynthia Ann Ellard-Goff (Cindy) was born on June 26, 1957 in Pomona, CA and went peacefully to her heavenly home on July 15, 2022.

Cindy graduated from Parkwood High School, Joplin, MO in 1975. She had a very special group of classmates and continued those friendships throughout her entire life. 

In 1976 she received her Dental Assistant certification from Missouri Southern and worked for Dan Young, DDS for many years. Cindy was married in 1976 for 32 years.








Throughout her life, she was a faithful Christian, leading others to the Lord through teaching youth groups, bible studies and various other church ministries. She cherished the memories she made on the two mission trips to the Amazon jungle helping those in need. She had a passion for volunteering with several local charities and organizations.

Surviving Cindy is her son, Zachary Hunter Goff and granddaughter, Cali-Ann Dawn Gunlock. Additional survivors include her sister, Linda Ellard-Brown and husband Chuck Brown, a nephew, Reid Brown and niece, Becca Brown. She is preceded in death by her parents, Bruce W. and Judith A. Ellard. She will be remembered for her fun and outgoing personality, kind heart and steadfast love of Christ.








Visitation will be Sunday, July 24th 4:00-6:00pm at Mason Woodard Mortuary in Joplin, MO. Funeral service will be Monday, July 25th at 2:00pm at Fellowship Baptist Church in Joplin, MO

Memorial contributions can be made to the Joplin Humane Society, (where she rescued her beloved little dog Romeo) or Watered Gardens, in Joplin, MO

Arrangements have been entrusted to Mason-Woodard Mortuary and Crematory.
