Loretta Turner

Loretta Turner, age 80, of Joplin, passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2022 at Joplin Gardens in Joplin.

Loretta, daughter of the late William and Loretta (George) Booth, was born on January 19, 1942 in McKeesport, PA. She was employed with Eat-N-Park in McKeesport, PA for 28 and then with Ryan’s Steakhouse until her retirement. She attended the Faith Lutheran Church in Gainesville, TX until she moved to Joplin in December.






 


Family includes her parents, William Booth (deceased) and Loretta George Booth (deceased); the father of her children, Richard Lee Turner Sr. (deceased); her children, Richard Turner, and his wife, Cindy, of Gainesville, TX and Cathleen Higginson, of Granby; son-in-law, Andrew Higginson, of Texas; her brothers, Russell Booth, and his wife, Lynn, of California; Bill Booth (deceased) and Norman Booth (deceased); sister-in-law, Patricia Trimble, and her husband, Ronald, of Joplin; grandchildren, Melissa Engle, Jimmy Johnson, McKagen Higginson, Taylor Higginson, Caylee Turner, Sarah Turner, Shae Turner, and Amanda Locke; great grandchildren, Tori Engle, Aiden Engle, Avvi Warren, Emery Johnson, Freya Higginson, Emilly Pucciarella, and Vincent Pucciarella; nieces and nephews, Tammy Trimble, Allen Trimble, and his wife, Gina, of Joplin, and Russell Booth Jr.; Carlotta Cooper and her husband, Wayne, of Texas; and great nieces Jessica Trimble and Jenna Trimble. She will be dearly missed by all her family and friends.

Private family services will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin.
