(From Hedge-Lewis-Goodwin Funeral Home)MaryAnn Jamison, age 77, of Webb City, passed away on Friday, July 29, 2022 at her home surrounded by loved ones.
MaryAnn, daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Sorota) Gorgone, was born on November 11, 1944 in East Chicago, IN.
She grew up in Indiana and soon after high school, she completed cosmetology school. She has been a beautician, bank teller, office worker, and most importantly, a wonderful homemaker and mother of two.
On April 15, 1972 she was united in marriage to James “Jim” Jamison, and they had just celebrated 50 years of a loving, caring, and devoted life together. She and Jim moved to Webb City in 2014 to be closer to their children and grandchildren.
Her life was centered on family, and she spent a lot of intentional time and loving care in preserving, sharing, and passing on family mementos and keepsakes. She was always thinking of others first and sacrificed her needs for the good of her family, as well as anyone else who needed help. Her devotion to her family and the values and principles she lived will leave a permanent impression in the hearts of her family.
Survivors include her husband, Jim Jamison, of Webb City; her two children, Brian Jamison, and his wife, Sally, of Springdale and Nancy McCaulley, and her husband, Matthew, of Carl Junction; her sister, Nancy Mansueto, of Dyer, IN; grandchildren, David McCaulley, of Carl Junction, Brionna Wherry and husband, Josh, of Fayetteville, and Ladon Jamison, of Springdale; a nephew, Andy Mansueto, and his wife, Amelita, and their daughter, Madeline; her niece, Lisa Mansueto; and several cousins and extended family members.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her aunt and uncle, Ann and John Negovetich, whom she also loved deeply and took care of for many years.
Funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Joplin with The Reverend Joe Weidenbenner officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Webb City. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Tuesday, August 2nd beginning at 5:00 PM until 6:00 PM at the Hedge-Lewis-Goodwin Funeral Home in Webb City.
Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Hedge-Lewis-Goodwin Funeral Home, Webb City.
