Greg Forbis

Gregory Wayne Forbis, 55 of Rogers, Ark., passed away July 21, 2022 at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville after a one-year battle with cancer. He was born December 4, 1966, in Trenton, Mo., to Ron and Mary (Coffman) Forbis. 

Greg was preceded in death by his father.








Greg grew up in Sedalia, Mo., where he graduated from Smith Cotton High School in 1985. He attended Missouri State University in Springfield, Mo., and earned his Bachelor's Degree in Accounting in 1989. 

Greg had a lifelong career in the Supply Chain Logistics industry, including 30 years at Walmart and the past three years with the RJW Logistics Group.

Over his life and career, Greg developed countless relationships and touched the lives of many, both personally and professionally. God blessed him with many gifts, but most certainly with the clear purpose to love others with focused energy and thoughtful pursuit to make all who love him feel loved in return. 

Greg's unfailing faith guided him through life, especially over the past year. He served in leadership and discipleship roles at First Christian Church and Fellowship Bible Church. Greg also served his community by devoting time to the Northwest Arkansas Heart Walk, the Rogers High School Booster Club, and the Rogers Community School Recreation Association.

Greg is survived by his wife of 30 years, Robin Ezell Forbis; son, Carter Austin Forbis of Rogers, Ark.; daughter, Katelyn Ivy Forbis of Rogers, Ark.; mother, Mary Virginia Forbis of Carl Junction, Mo.; and brother, Andrew Scott Forbis of Holly Springs, N.C.








A celebration of life will be held 11 a.m. Friday, July 29th, at Fellowship Bible in Rogers with Pastor Mickey Rapier officiating. Private burial will be at Pinnacle Memorial Gardens in Rogers. Memorial Contributions may be made to Fellowship Bible Church, Highlands Oncology or Circle of Life Hospice.
