Bill Goff

Mr. William Marion “Bill” Goff, 87, of Neosho, Missouri, formerly of Anderson, Missouri, departed this life on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, while at National Health Care in Joplin, Missouri.

Bill entered this life on April 6, 1935, in Braden, Oklahoma, born to the union of the late Frank and Pearl (King) Goff. He resided in the Braden and Spiro area before moving to Arizona at the age of fourteen. He owned and operated a service station in Coolidge, Arizona before starting his career as a truck driver. He and his first wife, Norma, moved from Arizona to Anderson, Missouri, in 1985.









Following retirement, Bill drove a school bus for the districts of McDonald and Newton County. He enjoyed watching westerns, caring for his property and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a member of Believers Faith Fellowship in Neosho, Missouri and a Veteran of the United States Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Norma Goff; two children, Ernest and Sandra Goff; a grandson, Kyle Goff; and three siblings.

Bill is survived by his wife, Sharon Goff, whom he married on June 9, 2007 and she survives of the home. Additional survivors include his three children, David Goff and wife, Theresa, of Florence, Arizona, Terry Goff of Livingston, Texas and Gary Goff of Des Moines, Iowa; two stepdaughters, Pam Helms and husband, Mel, of Joplin and Rachel Shellenbarger and husband, Dustin, of Duenweg; numerous grand and great grandchildren; as well as a host of other family and friends.






 

Funeral services are 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 18, 2022, in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes with Pastor Doyla Shaw officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow at the Anderson Cemetery. 

Those honoring his life by serving as pallbearers are Gary Goff, Jordan Goff, Jack Enloe, Dustin Shellenbarger, Chris McGilbray and Bob Pope. On-line condolences may be sent to the family through our website, www.ozarkfuneralhome.com.
