(From Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home)Mary Ann Wormington, 77, of Monett was called home to Heaven on Wednesday July 27, 2022 after dealing with a short illness. She was born in Wichita, Kansas on September 6, 1944; the daughter of the late Raymond Baumann Sr. and Irene (Gilden) Baumann.
She was united in marriage on March 15, 1963 in Monett, Missouri to Ronald Wormington; he survives.
She was the retired co-owner of the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett, Missouri and a long-time member of the First United Methodist Church in Monett, Missouri.

Mary Ann is survived by her husband Ron; two sons: Rick Wormington and his wife Gail of Monett and Robbie Wormington and his wife Jamie of Caledonia, Michigan; three sisters: Cathy Michael of Monett, Elizabeth Kelley of Webb City, and Cora Baumann of Cassville and four grandchildren: David, Sean, Casey and Travis.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Raymond Sr. and Irene; three brothers: Raymond Baumann Jr., James Baumann and Charles Baumann, and one sister: Marie Baumann.
Visitation for Mary Ann is being held on Sunday July 31, 2022 from 2:00p.m. to 4:00p.m. at the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett, Missouri. Funeral services will be held on Monday August 1, 2022 at 10:30a.m. at the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Chapel in Monett, Missouri with Rev. Arnold Ray Evans officiating. Burial will follow services at the Monett I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Monett.
Memorial donations for Mary Ann may be made to the First United Methodist Church in Monett.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett, Missouri.
