(From Parker Mortuary)Mary Grace Cook, age 53, Neosho, passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at her daughter’s home with family at her side.
Mary was born January 25, 1969 in Fort Smith, Arkansas, daughter of the late Barbara Woodall. She moved to Neosho, Missouri in 1984 and was an area resident from then on. She attended Neosho High School.
She married John Cook on April 25th, 2015 in Lamar, Missouri. She enjoyed trucking with her husband for some time, but was mainly a “MeMaw” to her grandkids.
She loved flea markets, and taking care of her garden. She was also an avid cannabis connoisseur, loved Scooby-Doo, rap music, but mainly being with her family is what brought her the most joy. She will be greatly missed by many.
Survivors include her husband of the home, John O. Cook Jr.; children, Jennifer “Ferfer” Owens, Belinda “Deeda” Miller (Michael), David “Bird” Brown and Trevor “Bubba” Brown all of Neosho; sisters, Tammy Cook, of Neosho, Crystal Brigham, of Joplin, and Melinda Mikulas of Neosho; brothers, Terry Cook (Marsha) of Springdale, Arkansas, James Woodall (Melissa) of Fort Smith, Arkansas; grandchildren, Brayden, Brett, Alaina Grace, Ryder, Caden, Willow Jean, Aiden, Honey “Lulu”, Leana Barker (Blake), Devin, and Lexi; great-grandson, Thane Barker: mother-in-law, Peggy Cook; and a host of extended family and friends including bonus grandchildren children, nieces, nephews.
Memorial service will be Friday, July 29, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in Parker Mortuary Chapel with Chaplain Jamie LaSalle officiating. Interment will follow in Waco Cemetery with Terry Cook, Blake Barker, Brayden Kaneer, and Devin Owens serving as pallbearers.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
