Rusty Wayne Bowling of Fairland, OK passed from this life Wednesday, April 29, 2020 in Grove, OK. He was 40.
Rusty was born May 11, 1979 in Joplin, MO to Clinton Thomas and Debra Jean (Fisher) Bowling. He was a 1997 graduate of Picher-Cardin High School. He had lived in Fairland for 2 years, moving from Arizona.
Rusty served six years with the United States Marine Corps in Hawaii. He was a plumbing / heat and air contractor working for Maxson Plumbing / Heat and Air in Grove, OK. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Quapaw, OK.
He was preceded in death by his mother Debra Jean Hamby.
Rusty is survived by two daughters, JoHannah Bowling of Commerce, OK and Emma Bowling of Arizona, his father, Tommy Bowling and his wife Yaddy of Quapaw, OK, three brothers, Thomas Earl Bowling and his wife Jamie of Quapaw, OK and Jan Carlos Bowling and his wife Ali of Pennsylvania and Jake Hamby and his wife Julie and six sisters, Marjorie Dodson and her husband Chris of Orlando, FL, Drenna Robertson and her husband Matt of Quapaw, OK, Gina Green and her husband Ryan of Carl Junction, MO, Meury Bowling of Orlando, FL, April Blair and her husband Stephen and April Hamby.
Private services will be held. Rusty will lie in state Sunday (May 3) from 2 p.m. - 5 p.m. and Monday (May4) from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. at Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Miami, OK for family and friends to pay their respects and sign the register book.
