Donnie Simmons, of Seneca, Missouri, 81, departed this life on Friday, May 15, 2020 at the Seneca House in Seneca, Missouri.
Donnie was born on June 28, 1939 in Tulare, California, born to the late Nadine Simmons.
He married Frances Earlene McCabe on August 17, 1991 in Miami, Oklahoma. Donnie served our country in the United States Army. He was a quality assurance engineer in San Diego, California; worked as a police officer in Goodman, Missouri, American Family in Anderson, Missouri and Precious Moments in Carthage, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his mother; grandson, Zachary Eric Geeding and four brothers.
Donnie is survived by his daughter, Sarah Boyd and husband, Steven of Neosho, Missouri; a son, Scott Simmons of Monett, Missouri; along with a host of other family and friends who will dearly miss Donnie.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
