Janice Virginia Rose, age 80, passed away Sunday, May 17 at St. Luke's Nursing Home in Carthage, MO.
She was born December 29, 1939 in Harriman, New York, the daughter of the late Clarence Rose and Anna (Müller) Rose.
Janice was an Inspector at Sunbeam Products in Neosho, MO for more than 20 years before retiring. She was selfless and pure of heart, always caring for others. Her passions were tending her farm in Goodman, MO and caring for her animals. She had a love for nature that was seen through her plants, flowers, and produce, which brought her many years of happiness. She also had a talent for knitting, crocheting, and painting.
She is survived by two daughters, Tammy Schilling and Debra Scritchfield and husband Jerry; four grandchildren, Ronny Miller, Steven Miller, Lori Valdez, and Lisa Scritchfield; six great-grandchildren, Lelu, Ronny, Avery, Logan, Liliana, and Olivia; two sisters, Mary Hoera and Anna Knetsch.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Kimberly Miller, and her beloved partner Cliff Hughes.
Services will be held at a later date. The family suggests memorials be made to the Parkinson's Foundation.
