William Vick Koelling, age 93, of Webb City, Missouri, passed away at 4:32 a.m. Sunday, May 24th, 2020 at his home.
He was born November 15th, 1926 in West Plains, Missouri to William Preston and Minnie (Lane) Koelling.
On March 11th, 1950 he was united in marriage to Dorothy Collins in Arkansas County of Fulton. He served in the United States Army 3rd Military Police. He is a member of the Liberty Baptist Church in Webb City. Vick worked as a truck driver for Rex Metallic Casket Company and the Webb City School District as a security officer, retiring in 1992.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Koelling of the home; a sister, Evelyn Bell of North Augusta, South Carolina; four sons, Victor L. Koelling, wife Kelli of Kansas City, Missouri, Preston E. Koelling of Forest City, Arkansas, Kenneth L. Koelling of Joplin, Missouri, Craig Koelling, wife Kathleen of Lamar, Missouri; a daughter, Vickie Lybbert and husband Chuck of Moses Lake, Washington; seven grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Vick is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers; Art Koelling and Doffice Koelling; and two sisters, Betty Dobbs and Mildred McDaniel.
Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 28th at Howell Valley Cemetery in West Plains, Missouri with Randy Wilson officiating. Friends may pay their respects on Wednesday from noon until 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of Hedge-Lewis-Goodwin Funeral Home. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.hedgelewis.com.
