Ollie Wyatt

Ollie B Wyatt was born November 29, 1915 to Loffie (Love) Wyatt and Bedford Wyatt in Ringgold Louisiana ,the second of two children.

Ollie B moved to Joplin, Missouri in 1942 where she met and married Levi Markray. She later became the Mother of 7 children.

Five of her children and one grandchild preceded her in death.

Ollie B accepted God as her savior at an early age. She enjoyed reading God’s Word and attending Church until her health began to fail. She was the mother of Unity Baptist Church for over 70 years which she loved. Ollie devoted many hours working in her Mission Circle, Sunday School, and attending worship services.

She later moved to Kansas City, Missouri to be near her family

She loved everyone and didn’t consider anyone a stranger. The love of God and her family were the most important part of her life.

Her hobbies included fishing, playing dominoes, and bowling, both watching on the television and playing the Wii. In 2017 she won a Wii bowling tournament title at her senior citizen complex. She loved gardening and working in her yard and attempted to have the most beautiful yard on her street.








She leaves to mourn two daughters, Gertha Johnson in Kansas City, Missouri and Dixie Brown (Herman) in Raytown, Missouri; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services are planned for Friday, May 15, 2020, at 11:30 am at Unity Missionary Baptist Church. Family will receive friends from 10:30 am until service time at the church. Interment will be at Osborne Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
