Jennifer Villa Alvarado, age 20, Joplin, passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at Mercy of Joplin after an illness.
Jennifer was born October 1, 1999 in Joplin, and grew up attending Joplin Schools before graduating from Joplin High School in 2017. She then graduated from Crowder Community College in Neosho, Missouri with her Associates Degree. She has been working recently with T-Mobile, and attending the University of Arkansas working on her Bachelor's Degree.
She loved her church, and was an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Webb City, Missouri. She was known as being a super friendly person who had a bunch of friends, and was loved by everyone. She also enjoyed helping others, and enjoyed fundraising activities, both participating and organizing.
She is survived by her parents, Anallely Alvarado and Alfredo Villa of Joplin; a brother, Alfredo Villa of Joplin; four grandparents; several aunts and uncles, and many friends that loved her dearly.
Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 11, 2020 at 2:30 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Paco Gordillo officiating. Interment will follow in Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery with family serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at Parker Mortuary on Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
