(From Housh-Goodwin Funeral Home)Mr. Gary “Barney” Dennis Denholm, 75, of Sarcoxie, Missouri passed Thursday, November 10, 2022 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Missouri after a sudden illness.
Gary was born on July 30, 1947 in the state of Ohio to the union to the late Barney and Verna Joan (Miller) Denholm and was raised in the state of Florida. After graduating from high school he proudly served in the United States Army. Returning home he was engaged in the trucking industry, both local and over the road. He retired from Fred’s Frozen Foods in Carthage, Missouri as a machine operator.
On November 11, 1994 he was united in marriage to Vicky Pickering in Las Vegas, Nevada. Together they shared twenty-eight wonderful years of memories. He was of the Catholic faith and a member of the local VFW. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and hunting as well as spending time with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Linda Edward; and stepdaughter, Trisha Lovette.

Gary is survived by his wife Vicky, of the home; and son Sascha Denholm of Mount Vernon, Missouri; siblings, Tammy Rozier and her husband, Jim, of Atlanta, Georgia, David Denholm and husband, Bill Parker, Ralph Denholm and Mike Denholm and wife, Debbie all of Florida; step-children, Kristi Norbury and husband Joel and Wade Hamilton and wife, Jennifer; step-grandchildren, Nate, Nick and Noah Norbury, Cate and Claire Hamilton, Lauryn Babcock and husband, Jake, Avry Lovette; step-great-grandchildren, Nevaeh, Trinity and Everly Babcock; step-son-in-law, John Lovette; as well as a host of other family and friends.
