(From Paul Thomas Funeral Home)Ruth Arlene Turner of Miami, OK passed from this life Monday, June 5, 2023 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, MO. She was 89.
Ruth was born January 12, 1934 in Apperson, OK to John and Ella (Brown) Goad. She had lived in the Miami area for the past 33 years, moving from Stockton, MO. She was a homemaker and a member of Commerce First Assembly of God in Commerce, OK.
She was preceded in death by her parents and 3 brothers, Archie Goad, Ardell Goad and Harvey Brown.
Ruth is survived by her husband, Bruce Turmer of the home, 1 daughter, Kristy Long and her husband Kent of Carl Junction, MO, 2 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren.
Celebration of Life services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at Commerce First Assembly of God in Commerce, OK with Pastor Howie Moss officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the services beginning at 1:00 p.m. at First Assembly of God in Commerce.
