Cindy Darlene Harless, age 56 of Joplin, Mo. passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2014 following a sudden illness.
Cindy was born on January 9, 1958 in Joplin the daughter of Robert and Mary (Scott) Evans. She has been a lifetime area resident, Cindy worked as a supervisor for the Department of Family Services for many years. And was the President of the Joplin Flea Market.
She married Stephen Harless on October 31, 1975, he survives. Additional survivors include two sons; Shawn Harless and wife Jill, Todd Harless and wife Cadence, both of Joplin, one brother; James Evans of Joplin and three grandchildren, Aleesha Jackson, Hannah Austin and Kaw-liga Harless. Cindy was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters.
Funeral services have been scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at the Mason-Woodard Chapel. Burial will follow at Forest Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home during a time of visitation Monday evening from 6 to 7 p.m.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory.
