Joyce Crowder

Joyce Ann (Baker) Crowder, 73, Wyandotte, OK, passed into eternal rest November 19, 2014 at her nieces home in Rogers AR after an illness.

Joyce Ann Baker was born September 8, 1941 in Hollowell, KS the daughter of Glen and Florence Baker. She owned and operated the Sycamore Valley Recreation Area south of Wyandotte, OK. Joyce was a member of the Sycamore Chapel United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her niece who was taking care of her, Dorothy Taylor, Rogers, AR.; four step-children; Jan Cozort, Tulsa, OK, Diana Tiger, Commerce, OK, and Sherrie Pledger, Wyandotte; one sister, Peggy Slankhard, Joplin, MO; 6 grandsons, 1great-grandson and four great-granddaughters and a host of family and friends.

Joyce was preceded in death by four brothers, Glen L. Baker, Alfred E. Baker, Freddie G. Baker and Orville M. Baker.

Funeral services under the personal direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, MO will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, November 24, 2014 at the Sycamore Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. John Bates officiating. Burial will be in the Wyandotte Indian Cemetery with family members serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends form 2:00pm to 3:00pm, Sunday, November 23, 2014 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Sycamore Chapel United Methodist Church in care of the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, PO Box 380, Seneca, MO 64865.
