Larry H. Patrick, 63, of Carthage passed away at 7:06 p.m. Friday, November 28, 2014 at Freeman Hospital in Joplin. Larry was born February 8, 1951 in Bowers Mills, LaRussell, MO. He was the son of Glen Patrick and Esther “Maggard” Patrick. Larry had been a lifetime Carthage Resident. He served in the United States Air Force. Larry pastored at Calvary Mission in LaRussell, prior to becoming ill with cancer. Larry also drove a truck, did mechanical work and he enjoyed playing music at Red Oak on Saturday evenings. Larry was united in marriage to Linda Denman on May 22, 1971 in Carthage. She survives.
Other survivors include one son James Patrick of Carthage and one daughter Sarah Franklin of Carthage, two brothers; Kevin Patrick and Daniel Patrick both of Carthage, three sisters; Barbara Milleson of Granby, MO, Mary Kuhn and Kerry Cowgil both of Carthage and 4 grandchildren. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, one son Anthony Patrick and one sister, Glenda DeGonia.
Memorial Graveside Services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at Reeds Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent at www.ulmerfh.com. Arrangements are under the direction of the Ulmer Funeral Home.
