Phyllis E. McConnell, 75 passed away November 25, 2014 at Mercy Hospital Joplin.
Phyllis was born April 13, 1939 in Kenton, Ohio to Jess Leroy Brandyberry and Geraldine LaVonne Burris Brandyberry. Phyllis was a Carthage resident since 1977 moving here from California, she was a homemaker and a waitress in California for many years. She was a member of the Grace Pointe Assembly of God Church of Carthage.
Phillis was united in marriage to Roy McConnell Jr. June 10, 1976 in Reno, Nevada, he survives. Phyllis is survived by a half sister Nancy of Marion, Ohio and dear friends Kent and Karla Gaines and Cody and Lacey Gaines.
Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday November 28, 2014 at Park Cemetery Carthage. Online condolences can be made at www.ulmerfh.com.
