Curtis D. Cordell was born in Carthage, Missouri on December 11, 1965. He grew up in Raytown, Missouri and graduated from Raytown High School in 1984. He then went on to college at the University of Missouri Columbia and graduated with a degree in Graphic Arts from San Diego State University in California. Curtis was a lover of the arts, music and films and visited the Nelson-Atkins Gallery of Fine Art on a regular basis.
He will be greatly missed by his parents, Gary and Janet Cordell of Lee’s Summit, Missouri and his sister, Angela Cordell of Lee’s Summit, Missouri.
