(From Parker Mortuary)Shirley Ann Dilena, age 87, Joplin, passed away on Monday, October 31st, 2022 at Joplin Health and Rehab. Shirley was born July 7th, 1935 in Los Angeles, California to the union of Jay Everett and Irene Mae (Seribner) Ebbs-Bressee.
She married John Dilena on May 15th, 1965. She was an avid animal lover. Shirley was very devote in her faith and was a member of the Saint Peter the Apostle Catholic Church. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and shopping.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Lucretia Dilena; and brother, Jay. Shirley is survived by her daughter, Lucretia Holcomb; two grandchildren, John and Lena; and many special neighbors that looked after her.
Shirley will be laid to rest at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery next to her husband. Arrangements are under the special care of Parker Mortuary.
