(From Nichols Funeral Home)Stacy J. Layman, age 35, passed into the arms of her Savior on Monday, October 31, 2022 at her home in Joplin.
Stacy was born on March 12, 1987 to Johnny and Lori Layman in Grove, Ok. She attended Grove School and graduated from Evergreen Christian Academy in Grove.
After graduating, Stacy discovered her passion and pursued a career in nursing and became a Registered Nurse. She was a traveling nurse, most recently in the NICU at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, KS.
Stacy was a ray of sunshine that will be remembered for her angelic singing voice that she blessed her patients with. She was loving, caring, bright, funny and an adoring mother. Stacy had a kind heart and a beautiful soul. She will be inexplicably missed by her patients, friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandpa and paternal grandparents.
Left to cherish Stacy's memory is her maternal Grandmother Bonnie Black, her parents, Johnny and Lori Layman her son, David Jr., brother Johnathan Layman his wife, Shanna Layman and her sister Brooke Freeman and many loving friends, aunts, uncles, cousins and nephew.
A Celebration of her life will be at 11am Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at Crossroads Church, north of Grove. The family requests that donations be made to Stacy's son, David in the name of Lori Layman.
