(From Paul Thomas Funeral Home)Peggy Nadine Thompson of Miami, OK passed from this life Saturday, June 10, 2023 at Miami Nursing Center in Miami, OK. She was 95.
Peggy was born November 27, 1927 in Picher, OK to Frank and Nora Harryman. She had lived in Picher all her life before moving to Miami. She was a 1946 graduate of Picher-Cardin High School.
She worked for Martin's Grocery Store in Picher and later for Wal-Mart in Miami, OK. She was a member of Cardin Baptist Church.
Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Clyde "Bob" Thompson, 2 sons, Ricky Dale Thompson and Daniel Lee Thompson, her daughter, Tamara Kay Smith, her parents, 4 brothers, Pat Harryman, Frank Harryman, Jr., Orville Mitchell and JP Allen and 3 sisters, Oleta Veach, Elsie Mortimer and Jean Duncan.
Peggy is survived by her daughter-in-law, Marilyn Thompson of Miami, OK, 3 grandchildren, DaAnn Morris and her husband Robert of Carl Junction, MO, Chad Thompson and his wife Sarah of Claremore, OK and Danielle Green and her husband Eric of Joplin, MO and 6 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 15, 2023 at G.A.R. Cemetery in Miami, OK with Chad Thompson officiating. Services have been placed in the care of Paul Thomas Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Miami, OK. Online condolences may be made at www.paulthomasfuneralhomes.com.
