Sherre Wilson

Sherre Ruth Wylie Conway Wilson was born on July 28, 1952, in Neosho, Missouri, to Loyde and Joan (Forbes) Wylie. Sherre entered into the presence of Jesus Christ, her Savior on June 10, 2023. 

Sherre graduated from Neosho High School in 1970. She then attended and graduated from the University of Missouri, Kansas City – School of Dentistry in 1974 with a bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene.








Throughout the years, Sherre was a hygienist for Dr. Helzberg in Kansas City; Dr. Pogue and Dr. Burch in Neosho, and Dr. Hunter in Cassville. Sherre's former patients still remark on her gentle touch and excellent care after thirty-plus years of being her patient. Sherre also taught dental hygiene programs at Colorado Northwestern Community College in Rangely, Colorado, and at Missouri Southern State University, then MSSC in Joplin, Missouri.

Sherre was an active member of the Roaring River Baptist Church in Eagle Rock, Missouri. Sherre and Gary Dennis Wilson were married in 1985 and Gary survives.

Sherre was Gary's devoted caregiver for more than 21 years after he suffered a severe brain injury. 

In addition to her husband, Sherre is survived by her sister, Jo Wylie Nageotte, and husband, Lonny, along with nephews, Patrick, Tyler, and Byron Wylie and Zebulon Nageotte and niece, Carrie Nageotte Louderback. 

In addition, she is survived by numerous beloved, great, and great-great nieces and nephews. Sherre was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Gylda, brother, Micheal; nephews, Zachary Nageotte and Zachary Wylie and her first husband, Gary Conway, who she married in 1973. Sherre was a greatly loved daughter, sister, wife, and aunt. Every child should have an aunt like 'Aunt She'. All who knew her were touched by her accepting and generous heart.








Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 16, 2023, at 10 am at the Clark Funeral Home, Neosho, Pastor Scot Hill will officiate. Interment will follow in the Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery and serving as pallbearers will be Timothy Louderback, Hunter Wylie, Jacob Wylie, Zebulon Nageotte, Lonny Nageotte and Kelsie McClendon. 

The family will receive friends at a time of visitation, Thursday evening at the Clark Funeral Home, from 6 pm to 7 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Sherre may be made to the WMU at Roaring River Baptist Church, c/o Clark Funeral Home, PO Box 66; Neosho, MO 64850.
