Cash Vowels

Cash Thomas Vowels, age 18, of Neosho, Missouri unexpectedly passed away on November 11, 2024, in Neosho, Missouri. Born on August 15, 2006, in Joplin, Missouri. Cash was the beloved son of Daniel and Terra (McKay) Vowels.

Cash was a student in Neosho Schools, where he found joy in skateboarding, creating music, and spending time with his friends. His love for music and the freedom he felt on his skateboard embodied his adventurous spirit and brought inspiration and happiness to those around him. Cash’s gentle heart, quick wit, and genuine kindness left an indelible mark on his family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.








He is survived by his loving parents, Daniel and Terra Vowels; his sister, McKaya Vowels; and two brothers, Carter Vowels and Caysin Vowels. Cash also leaves behind his maternal grandfather, Tom McKay, and step-grandmother Elizabeth; paternal grandparents, Tom and Cindy Vowels; maternal great-grandparents, Gary and Gaylene Smith; and paternal great-grandmother, Judy Vowels. Numerous other family members, including aunts, uncles, cousins, and many close friends, will cherish his memory. 

Cash was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Pamela McKay.








The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home in Neosho, Missouri, on Thursday, November 14, 2024, from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m., followed by funeral services on Friday, November 15, 2024, at 2:30 p.m. at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories in Neosho, Missouri. Interment will follow immediately at Neosho IOOF Cemetery. The casket will remain closed to the public at all times.

In honoring Cash’s memory, we remember his vibrant life, boundless creativity, and the warmth he brought to everyone he met. His spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
