(From Mason-Woodard Mortuary)Rosemary “Patty” Seward, age 83, of Webb City, MO, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2024. Patty was born on October 28th, 1941 in Joplin, MO to her parents Godfrey and Mary (Fleming) Busick. She married John Seward, on July 3, 1959 in Joplin, MO.
She owned and operated One Stop Wedding Shop in Duenweg for several years. Patty was a homemaker and enjoyed baking, cake decorating and crafting.
Time at the lake with John, the kids, their cousins, and friends—camping, fishing, and simply being together—was a cornerstone of her life, filled with joy and laughter. These cherished moments, surrounded by the people she loved most, were the essence of her happiness. Of all the things in her blessed and beautiful life, she was most proud of the people in it: John, the kids, every member of both sides of the family, and countless friends who were too many to name but never forgotten in her heart.
For all who were fortunate enough to know her, Patty was the embodiment of love. She had a
unique way of making everyone feel seen, valued, and cherished. Friends quickly became family
in her presence, as her warmth and kindness were impossible to resist. Her love was
unconditional, selfless, and enduring—a gift she gave freely to all who crossed her path. Patty
was love, and her spirit will live on in the hearts of everyone she touched.
She is preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Godfrey Busick; five sisters, Betty Mickey Miller, JoAnn Busick, Jennie Baker-Miller, Delores Simon-McCoy and Bobby Sue Collings.
