(From Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home)Jeffrey Lee Terry, age 64, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away at 2:54 p.m. on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri. He was born November 24, 1959, in Monett, Missouri, the son of Ward David and Mary Imogene (Jones) Terry.
Jeffrey attended school in Miller, Missouri and received his associate degree in Criminal Justice from Missouri Southern State University in Joplin, Missouri. He was a deputy sheriff and owner of Terry’s Pilot and Escort Service. He was member of Round Grove Baptist Church.
Jeffrey is survived by his mother, Imogene Cornell, of Springfield, Missouri; three daughters, Jennifer Terry and partner, Ben Adams, of Jefferson City, Missouri, Rebecca Jones and her husband, David, of Adrian, Missouri and Amber Kellison and partner, Derek Clark, of Raytown, Missouri; one step-son, Andrew Williams and partner, Chelsie Collins, of Nevada, Missouri; 12 grandchildren, Cheynne and wife, Nicole, Jeffrey, Danni Rose, Dallas, Aaliyah, Taylor, Lorin, Levi, Ally, Kaiden, Amberly and Asa Lee; three great-grandchildren, Hunter, Stryker and Zeke; three brothers, Mike (Della) Terry, of Brookline, Missouri, Roger (Tammy) Terry of Norwood, Missouri and Steve (Cathy) Terry of Mansfield, Missouri; special friend, Christy Harness; stepbrother, Mark Porter of Mt. Vernon, Missouri and several nieces and nephews.
Jeffrey was preceded in death by his father, Ward Terry, grandson, John Boaz, maternal grandparents, Kyle, and Linnie Jones, niece, Brandy Terry and two nephews, Kyle and Brian Terry.
A visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home, in Aurora, Missouri, with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Lee Cemetery in Verona, Missouri.
