(From Paul Thomas Funeral Home)James Roy "Jimmy" Cook of North Miami, OK passed from this life Friday, November 22, 2024 at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, OK. He was 84.
Jimmy was born August 24, 1940 in Seneca, MO to Leroy Winfield and Hazel Lorene (Huston) Cook. He graduated from Seneca High School in Seneca, MO in 1958. He served in the United States Army. He had lived in North Miami over 50 years.
Jimmy worked for Eagle-Picher for 28 years as a machinist.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Jean Cook in 2001. He was also preceded by his son, Donald Cook and his daughter, Teresa Cook Keeper, his parents, 2 brothers, Joseph Cook and Travis Eugene Cook and 1 sister, Nancy Brawley.
Jimmy is survived by 2 brothers, Raymond Cook, of Columbus, KS and William Cook of Pineville, MO, 3 sisters, Celia Simmons of Oswego, KS, Flora May Morgan of Vinita, OK and Ruth Woolman of Oswego, KS, 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 30, 2024 at Bluejacket Cemetery in Bluejacket, OK with Paul Cook officiating.
