Betty Nan Burr Watson, 83, Neosho, died December 10, 2013 at her home, following a short illness.
Betty was born January 15, 1930 in Newton County, MO, the daughter of Homer and Ruth (Betzer) Burr. She worked at La Z Boy in Neosho and retired in 1992. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family and was a member of the Rocketdyne Road Church of Christ. Betty is survived by her sister, Earlene Branick, who she called her ‘little angel’; three sons, Ed Whittington and wife, Martha; Scott Whittington and Mitchell Whittington, all of Neosho; two daughters, Dianne Ward and husband, Bob, Goodman and Sheila Turner and husband, Jim, Neosho; 16 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren and 16 great great grandchildren and a sister in law, Laura Burr. She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Troy and Darrell Burr; brother in law, Bill Branick; niece, Dawn McCool and grandson, Charles Whittington.
Private family interment of the cremains will be held at a later date. Cremation services are under the direction of Clark Funeral Home.
