Randall Lee ‘Randy’ Hebel, Sr., age 61, Joplin, passed away at 3:10 a.m. Friday, December 6, 2013 at his residence after a sudden illness.
Randy was born March 11, 1952 in Harrisonville, Missouri to Henry Lee Hebel and Norma Jean Scott Hebel.
He was a longtime employee of Alto Systems, Inc., Houston, Texas and had also worked at Tyson Foods, Noel, Missouri for several years. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving during the Vietnam War and stationed in Fairbanks, Alaska.
Randy loved fishing; going to the lake; spending time with his family; his wife and animals. He was truly a wonderful man that spoiled his wife rotten. He was always willing to help out a friend in need.
He married Candice Elaine Sutton on July 2, 1987 in Humble, Texas. She survives at the home.
Additional survivors include his parents, Henry Lee Hebel and Norma Jean Hebel, Quincy, Illinois; two sons, Randall Lee Hebel, Jr. and his wife, Robin, Ft. Benning, Georgia, Dustin Lee Cawyer and his wife, Megan Cawyer, Houston, Texas; two daughters, Kacey Ann Vuong and her husband, Ted Vuong, Humble, Texas, Holly Lynn Schilling and her husband, Keith, Carl Junction; grandchildren, Shelby, A.J., Karina, Ryan, Keation, Darian, C.J., Lily; one great grandchild, Urijah; and one sister, Nancey Guehl and her husband, Tom, Morton, Illinois.
Randy will be taken for cremation. No formal services are planned at this time.
Arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
